Orion Roofing is built on a strong foundation shaped by Colin Bruce Geary, a pioneer of professional roofing in the Sea to Sky region. With over 43 years of hands-on experience, Bruce was among the first to bring a customer-focused, quality-driven approach to roofing in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. He was deeply passionate about his craft and played a key role in mentoring and guiding the team, instilling lasting values of craftsmanship, safety, and integrity that continue to define our work today.
Today, Orion Roofing is led by Jos Jesbin, a Squamish resident who has been actively working across Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton since 2019. Jos leads the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring every roofing project meets the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
An envelope engineer by education and roofer by profession, Jos brings extensive experience from working on major roofing projects across North America and internationally. He combines this global expertise with a deep understanding of local building conditions to deliver durable, high-performance roofing solutions tailored to the coastal and alpine climate of Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.
Jos holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and has completed advanced training in enterprise sales and family business management through institutions including the University of British Columbia and Queen’s University. He combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to client service and long-term value.
He is an active member of the British Columbia Building Envelope Council (BCBEC) and brings specialized expertise in snow load management and roofing system design. With a strong understanding of local climate demands, he ensures every roofing system is designed and installed to perform reliably under the heavy snow, rain, and environmental conditions common in Whistler, Squamish, and Pemberton.
